HEIGHT

Measured from the top of the baby's head to the floor.

CHEST

Measure the circumference of your chest. Place one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of your bust, wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and back to the front) to get the measurement.

WAIST

You need to take the measurement at the narrowest place, tightly hugging the waist.

HIPS

The hip measurement is taken at the widest part of the hips (around your bottom!).

SEAT HEIGHT

Tie a string around a waist and place your child on a chair. SH is the length from the string at the waist to the seat of the chair.

NECK

The neck measurement is the circumference of around the neck along its height.

BACK LENGTH TO WAIST

The back length measurement is the vertical distance between the base of the neck and waist line - all on the back of the torso.

FRONT LENGTH TO WAIST

The front length measurement is the vertical distance between the base of the neck and waist line - all on the front of the torso.

SHOULDER

The shoulder measurement is that of a single shoulder measured from the base of the neck to where the shoulder starts tapering off.

SLEEVE

Measurement is taken from the extreme point of the shoulder to the wrist along the arm slightly bent at the elbow. 3/4 sleeve length is measured the same way, but to the elbow.

WRIST

Measured around the wrist.

OUTSEAM

The outseam measurement is the distance between the waist and the ankle area.

INSEAM

The inseam measurement is taken from the bottom of the crotch (in between the legs) down through the ankle area.
